The design translates an insect exoskeleton into wearable form, placing layers of shell-like structures on the human body. X World is made with the palace lantern craft of China, a technique listed as intangible cultural heritage. After many material tests, a frame of iron wire was combined with silk gauze, a pairing that is both light and flexible. The garment is delicate yet strong, and presents vulnerability as a temporary form of protection.

Constructive steel parts made by various craftsmen are distinctive visual feature of the product, which gives the bag an architectonic appearance. The essential peculiarity of the bag are two typewriter’s keys which are self manufactured and assembled by the designer herself.

The case and the glass are tilted by 5.5 degrees, so the dial faces the line of sight and the time can be read quickly. A curved sapphire glass cover keeps the dial clear and protects it. The wristwatch is water resistant to 50 metres. The silicone strap is made from recycled plastic composite waste from military equipment. A detachable leather strap with a reflective coating is also offered.

The patterns tell a metaphorical tale of pre and post apocalypse with a story involving cellular experiments, mutation, reflection, reconstruction. The unique patterns are created with the Studio's own digital software, which uses body movement to reconstruct digital data and reveal organic details not possible solely by programming. They are asymmetrical and do not repeat. Hand finished, the patterns are digitally printed onto natural fabric which reproduces the detail of the designs.
