Four Seasons
Drawing inspiration from the classical water sleeves dances of Shen Yun, this scarf transports people to a tranquil garden stretching from a shimmering koi pond to towering mountain peaks. A maiden graces the scene, her flowing sleeves dancing in the air, with a gentle smile on her face. What sets this design apart is that it is, in its entirety, a single narrative painting, created using digital painting techniques on a tablet in Photoshop over several months. The vision: to let the wearer carry not just an image, but an entire world of feeling into everyday life.
Four Seasons Scarf by Fei Meng was selected as a grand illustration of fashion design by the A' Design Awards. Four Seasons Scarf was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Textile, Fabric, Textures, Patterns and Cloth Design in 2026. The A' Textile, Fabric, Textures, Patterns and Cloth Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that recognizes outstanding design of structural fabric, engineered cloth, smart textiles, technical textiles, woven fabric, jacquard fabric, tapestries and more.
