Headbone is a wired textile headwear design that redefines traditional head coverings through an integrated internal form control system. The design enables stable shape retention without pins, knots, or complex wrapping, allowing the wearer to intuitively sculpt and adjust the form. Its two sided construction provides dual styling options within a single object. Combining functional engineering with sculptural aesthetics, Headbone offers a modular, accessible, and contemporary approach to headwear design.
Headbone Headwear by Dilara Karayazi has been recognized as an outstanding representation of fashion design by the A' Design Awards. Headbone Headwear won the Bronze A' Design Award in Fashion and Travel Accessories Design in 2026.
